Sogn og Fjordane Museum of Art

Sogn og Fjordane Museum of Art is located in the city centre of Førde in a building that has been praised internationally for its characteristic architecture. The art museum has a permanent collection and changing exhibitions of contemporary art.

The collection has over 1000 art works, and portray regional and national visual art and works of art from the 1900s up until today with a focus on the time period after the 1970s.

On warm summer days you can enjoy our beautiful roof top on 4th floor. If you feel like it you can also explore our art shop and Café Sobra with its menu of homemade warm and cold dishes.
